Perth Convention Bureau’s 2016 Aspire Award now open
The Perth Convention Bureau’s (PCB) 2016 Aspire Award - now open. The aim of the Aspire Program is to assist the individual’s personal and professional development through attendance at a relevant international conference. The funding covers travel, accommodation and registration expenses to the maximum value of the award.
The Giving West Convention Scholarship, funded by PCB under its Aspire Program, is awarded to an individual involved with not-for-profit associations and designed to assist personal and professional development.
The selection criteria for applications are now available at http://www.pcb.com.au/aspire/giving-west with the deadline to receive applications being 31st March 2016.
2015 Winner - Ms Jessica Richards, Kidsafe WA
Ms Richards is a program manager at Kidsafe WA, the leading independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting safety and preventing childhood injuries and accidents in Western Australia. She will use the award to attend the 2015 Safe Kids Worldwide Childhood Injury Prevention Convention in Washington DC and explore the possibility of holding the conference in Perth.
